Week 6 people and just like that old song the hits just keep coming……….. on and off the field. Let’s start in the Pacific Northwest as the Pats traveled to Seattle to face the young & talented Seahawks. If you don’t know Seattle is one of the toughest places to play….just ask us PACKER fans (we still got robbed)….ijs For the Pats it’s business as usual as they make their way through the season , but inconsistent performances has taken some of the fear away when teams face Brady & Co. Also the biggest story is What are they gonna do with Wes Welker…..because Wes Wants his money ….cheese….gwap…… bread…..duckets …..smh Pats fans trust y’all really won’t look the same without Wes. For the Seahawks it’s another game that with a win they can again prove to the league that they are for real. The first half was a back and forth match with both offense’s finding the end zone with no problems , but Brady and the Pats would hold a 17 -10 lead at half time. In the second half that underrated Seahwaks defense got into the game causing havoc and forcing the All Pro Pats QB into some costly turnovers as they would only manage two field goals the rest of the game. Seahawks Rookie QB Russell Wilson proved again that he’s got “IT” as he lead the Seahawks back into the game and hooking up with WR Sidney Rice on a 46 yard TD pass giving the Seahawks a 24 – 23 lead with a minuet left in the game. Remember what I said about that Seahawks defense well the close the door on the Pats giving them no chance on their final possession to even get close to attempting a game winning field goal try sealing the win. I thought this was funny though apparently Tom Brady is a cyber thug as he was talking junk on twitter all week to members of that Seahawks defense…..lmbo guess they showed you Tom. Now at 3-3 the Pats are in the three way tie for first place in the AFC North as the Seahawks move to 4-2 on the year tied with the 49ers for first place.

Next we had the Cowboys looking to rebound after that Monday Night disaster against the Bears traveling to the WIRE to face OMAR and his goons…… I mean Ray Ray and the boys. Y’all know it gets crazy in Bmore…….don’t judge me (Ray you still my boy though)!!! For the Ravens their offense has been the story of this young season so far as their new up tempo attack has produced points in bunches. For the Cowboys it’s simple which Cowboys team would show up. Listen Cowboys fans I know y’all don’t wanna hear that but the truth hurts….lmbo In the first half the Cowboys defense seemed up to the task limiting the Ravens offense to only 3 points in the first quarter as the Cowboys offense got a TD run from RB Felix Jones for an early 7 – 3 lead. In the second quarter the Ravens offense would get on track with two TD drives capped off with score by WR Torey Smith and RB Ray Rice for the 17 – 10 halftime lead.
The Cowboys would get a field goal early in the second half to close the gap to 17 – 13 , but on the next kickoff the Ravens got an 108 kickoff return from WR Jacoby Jones to push the lead to 24 -13. Romo would answer with a TD drive of his own connecting with WR Dez Bryant cutting the lead again and with another field goal added early in the fourth the lead with get down to 1 point as they trailed 24 -23 in the fourth. The last 5 minuets of the game were wild with both teams scored with the Cowboys having a chance at the end to tie the game, but a failed two point conversion would leave the lead at 31 -29 Ravens. We knew the onside kick was coming so this should be game over right…….wrong as the Cowboys recovered giving Romo the ball back with a chance to get into field goal range. Romo would hit on a couple of passes to his BFF TE Jason Witten but kicker Dan Bailey couldn’t capitalize missing the kick as the clock hit zero wrapping up a wild one for the Ravens 31 -29. For the Cowboys another loss but you can’t blame Tony he did his job and for the Ravens a good win but they would lose CB Lardaruis Webb and MLB Ray Lewis with season ending injuries.
I was gonna cover the Giants game this week as they faced off with the 49ers in a NFC Title Game rematch, but simply put the Giants dominated the game in every phase making the 49ers look like they did two years ago with the 26 -3 victory. So everyone that was on the 49er bandwagon …..y’all better hold on tight looks like it’s gonna be a bumpy ride this season. Ok so does anybody else think that Peyton Manning is getting back to himself as these second half performances are proving to be his calling card now. On the other side Phillip Rivers and the Chargers look like they have figured out how to win games early in the season this year, so let’s see what happened and Peyton and the Broncos came to town. I will say this the game couldn’t have started any worse for the Bronco’s as two early special teams turnovers would keep Peyton on the sideline and allow the Chargers to put points on the board getting out to a 24-0 halftime lead.

Peyton must have been in the locker-room listening to that Roy Jones song “Y’all Musta Forgot”…….Ok Listen don’t act like I’m the only one that has that on their gym playlist…… OH Y’ALL FRONTIN ON ROY SON……… anyway Peyton and that Bronco’s defense came out on fire putting up 28 unanswered points and taking a 28 – 24 lead late in the fourth quarter……#YALLBETTERSTOPSLEEPINGONYALLMUSTAFORGOT!!!!! With the Chargers getting the ball back late QB Phillips Rivers would feel the heat from that Broncos defense again as he was picked off by CB Chris Harris who returned it for a TD ending the game 35 – 24 and adding to the Manning legend. This will be a fun re-match later on in the season as these division rivals meet again at Mile High in Denver.

In this weeks version of Say Word …..I wanted to spend some time talking about one of my favorite shows right now….. Chrissy & Mr. Jones. Yeah I said it ….no PAWS…..none of that because Chrissy is a dime and Jim is that dude we all knew from the hood that had all the girls even with the crazy anger management problems…lmbo Don’t forget Ma’ma Jones and her foolishness……ijs

In this week’s episode the focus was Chrissy & Jim relationship and it’s direction. I think it’s so ironic how the roles and behavior have changed with men and women in relationship even to where you see in on TV. Just think about it how many gangsters you know that are openly on TV talking about they want a baby , they wanna settle down and they just wanna provide for their family. Or this how many women do you know that have said “I don’t know If I want to be married right now” or “I’m not ready for a baby yet”. Now the deeper you get into the show I think more of the truth comes out about not only where they are in their relationship and the barriers that they are constantly facing , but to me the foundation of their problem and most problems in relationships nowadays is COMMUNICATION. The times have passed when people just want to be “heard” now the focus is becoming “Are you listening to me” and the application that follows. I have to say people that I always thought I was a good listener…..only to find out that most times I was just hearing and doing nothing about it. These are the lessons that come along with this journey and it’s so funny that shows like this can bring some of the things we personally struggle with to light. Watching two people fighting for the same thing but on different paths can make you adjust your own ideals and approach. At the end of the day people it’s truly all about growth , but don’t be fooled by the other images you see on reality TV or even in your life that may lead you to believe that the grass is greener on the other side. It’s real out here in these streets people trying to find “Real Love” just because things have changed so much. If you have someone that’s special to you people hold onto to it …..fight to make it work ….protect each others feelings …value / appreciate each other ….and most importantly LISTEN TO EACH OTHER ….It’s the little things people that make the world of difference. Jim ended this episode saying “I guess its like they say If you love something you gotta let it go….but I aint willing to let it go”…..crazy thing is fam we never have control over the things that mean so much to us. We just control our actions that show appreciation. I’m learning everyday people so I know one day it’s gonna make for a great investment (pray for me). S/O to my homie Jeanita Morris @ “He said She Said Footbal” on her recent wedding and to my brother Mitch Jules & Renise Themidor – Jules on their upcoming weeding this weekend. May God continue to bless you with strength , determination , faith & love for each other needed to keep making it work. Til next week people hug the one you love ….tell that special person you love them …… understand you don’t have to win every argument ….& most of all Be Easy…… You’ve just read THE RUCKER REPORT …..#GODCANREPAIRALLTHINGS
