Week 2 ……the match ups just keep getting better & better. Let me get this out the way real quick ……. THE BEARS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE ……. In layman’s terms GO PACK GO….. with the 23 – 10 victory ….no re-cap needed ….everything is looking good in cheese head land. I’m sorry people I had to do it …. you can’t blame me I hang around a whole bunch of Giants fans so their attitude rubs off sometimes…..don’t judge me ….judge them. This week I wanna talk out some surprises from week two action , so let’s start in Charlotte aka The Queen City where my Big Sis Diddy & Cam Newton def run the city. Now the Panthers were hosting the Saints with both teams coming off disappointing week one performances , but a betting man had to put money on the Saints getting the win ……right? I’m sorry WHO DAT NATION but the Saints just don’t look like the Saints. The Panther’s defense had Bress under pressure the whole first half forcing turnovers and keeping their offense off balance the entire half as the Panthers had a 21 -13 lead going into halftime. In the second half it was more of the same as the Panthers did enough on both sides of the ball even with Brees attempting to work his magic to secure the 35 -27 win.
For the Panthers you can see some growth from last season and with Cam continuing his strong play The Queen City will have plenty to cheer about. Are you serious the Saints are 0 -2 on this young season especially against teams that they would have beaten convincingly last year. Y’all better get a voodoo doll of Commissioner Goodell to overturn those suspensions of this will be a lonnnnnnnnggggg season….I’m just sayin!!! Next we go to Miami as the Dolphins were hosting the Raiders. No Chad …… No MMG appearances …….. but IIyana was giving Evelyn the business during those interviews .. now the bully wanna cry now…smdh …..(SIDENOTE: It really was a good interview though youtube it…we can always learn something new) , but the real head line became Reggie & Kim getting back together …….. OK they didn’t get back together but for the Dolphins they found out that Reggie is ready to be an every down back & fulfill that potential he showed in college. Both the Raiders and the Dolphins would make explosive plays throughout the first quarter leading to a 7 -7 tie. In the second quarter both teams defense’s would get into the game with the Raiders managing a field goal for the 10 -7 halftime lead. In the second half Dolphins rookie QB Ryan Tannehill and RB Reggie Bush put the team on their backs putting up 28 points in the second half and wrapping up a 35 – 13 Dolphins win. Can the Dolphins keep this momentum going throughout the season….. we’ll next week they get a rivalry game against the J-E-T-S and Bart Scott simply said CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the Raiders it just looks like the same old story….. we can win the fight …forget the game ……GANGMEMBER!!!!!!
Now I know that we have all heard and talked about RG3 and Andrew Luck but the Seattle Seahawks found their QB of the future in Rookie QB Russell Wilson who beat out all the competition during the preseason and with an impressive performance in a week one loss the expectations in Seattle were high even with the Cowboys coming into town. From the start the Cowboys looked out of sync as the Seahawks defense .. the Seattle 12th Man just kept coming holding the Cowboys to 7 points the entire game. For the Seahawks it was a balanced attack with Wilson and the offense firing on all cylinders and their defense answering everything the Cowboys tired to do proving that they are going to be reckoned with all season with the impressive 27 – 7 win.
The Dirty Bird’s & The Bronco’s would round out this week’s re-cap with MNF in the A!!!! OK so I guess Scrappy told Peyton he was gonna put dem PAWS ON EM …..or he heard it was customer appreciation night at Strokers …… either way he didn’t look like Peyton Manning in the first half of this game as the Dirty Bird’s defense forced him into three interceptions leading to 20 first half points for the Falcons and a 20 – 7 halftime lead. But aye aye shawty dat boy Peyton thrill shawty!!!! Wait I’m sorry I had a ATL flashback…… translation Peyton is a bad boy and he can lead a comeback at anytime and in the second half he did just that as the Bronco’s put 14 points on the board to make it a 27 -21 game with 3 minuets left to go in the fourth quarter. The Falcon’s response was simple give the ball to Michael “THUNDER THIGHS” Turner …..OK wait self check I just violated MAN CODE 190 …. Calling another man by a crazy nickname ….. I am self reporting and hoping that the board shows mercy. Anyway the Falcon’s were able to run out the clock and move to 2-0 on the season with the 27-21 victory.

In this week’s version of Say Word I wanted to get into this whole Evelynn and Chad from a different angel. I know we all wanna talk about the headbutt , the 911 call , Chad looking crazy on HardKnocks , his crazy instagram pics , her crazy interviews on Dateline and with Ilyana which I still think was so inspirational. Instead I want to talk about the perception that we see in relationships nowadays. Yeah these reality shows are cool , they are definitely must see TV , they make for great work conversations and blog’s , etc but there impact on what we do personally in our own relationships because some of us actually think this stuff can not only work but that it’s real. Listen people I will make this real quick …… relationships nowadays are REAL……meaning full of things that have REAL LIFE implications gone are the days when you cheat and it’s over ….. gone are the days when you could really test the theory that the grass is greener on the other side and get away with it ……gone are the days when you could take your partner for granted and only have to deal with an occasional argument …… Now we have more domestic violence …. the disappearance of family values …. the disappearance of respect for the roles or efforts of men and women in relationships …… and the creation of these same TV characters in our children that watch how we interact with each other. Where have the times gone that we understood that no relationship would be perfect but we understood that all relationships took constant work & sacrifice ….. Where have the times gone when we cared be responsible with our actions and maintaining dignity with our choices…… Where have the times gone when we cared about what our kids saw from mommy & daddy on a constant basis….? In Evelynn’s interview with llyana she shared a letter that she had published because she saw her 7 year step daughter re-enact one of her crazy scenes from Basketball Wives and the quote read “You’ll carry the feeling of failure with you each second because you will realize you have never been taught better”……..just re-read that & let it sink in for a minute. Now even though we may have never been taught better or shown the difference between right and wrong this life gives us plenty of examples and opportunities to figure out how we do want to be treated. With that in mind understand that at some point it’s not about what you weren’t taught , but what decision you will make as an adult for your own benefit and the benefit of those that come after you. If you wanna look to TV for an example tune into OUR President and his family that’s whats a relationship is really about ….that’s how a man stands up for his woman and his family ….that’s how a woman supports her man , maintains a strong household and that how they both become an example for their children. Listen people I’ll be the first to say that I AM NOT A PERFECT MAN, but I am a work in progress that will stop at nothing to build a legacy for my family , be everything for my lady , set a good path for my children & my community while continuing to LMAO at Stebie J and any other ratcheness they put on TV because I know TV is just that TV and in my real life success is measured but my impact is lasting………………… TIl next week people Be Easy …. you’ve just read The Rucker Report
