I love when I stumble on to something cool and unexpected. After leaving the Califoria Pizza Kitchen tasting I saw these cute little cars outside so I had to investigate. It was a Toyota Drive Event.
Toyota set up its mobile Drive Center in Atlantic Station—featuring the Prius c, Prius v, Prius, and Camry Hybrid and participants were able to choose a hybrid vehicle to test drive. In addition to getting a hands-on feel for the Toyota hybrids, participants made a $1 donation to one of three great charities through its Drive for a Cause program. Drive for a Cause supports American Red Cross, AMVETS and National Park Foundation.
Unfortunately, I left my driver’s license in the car so I wasn’t to drive a hybrid, so one of the Drive Center team members drove me around the block and show me the various innovative features. I must say for this to be a compact hybrid—IT WAS ROOMY AND CUTE!
And the model I was in was reasonably price at around $24K fully loaded. Check out the video that @iShootAtlanta put together:
