As the first and only female Iron Chef on Food Network’s Iron Chef America, Cat Cora has really made a name for herself. I recently witnessed her expertise in the kitchen at the Macy’s Great American Chefs Tour when they stopped though Atlanta.
Cat Cora was joined by local culinary talent including chefs Boyd Rose (Milton’s Cuisine and Cocktails), Joe Truex (Watershed), Jason Ellis (Buckhead Bottle Bar & Bistro) and Scott Serpas (Serpas) and tour host Devin Alexander (celebrity chef and The New York Times best-selling author).
Each chef led live cooking demonstrations teaching the audience how to pick, prepare and serve signature dishes. Not only did we get great tips, but we also had a chance to sample the delicious dishes that were prepared.
The Great American Chefs Tour,” sponsored by Macy’s, will air as a separate 26-episode weekly television series on public television stations nationwide, so stay tuned for updates.
