Yesterday I attended a super luncheon hosted by Talking with Tami. The luncheon was held at Atlantic Station’s Strip Restaurant and it was all about the blogging business. Tami shared her story on how she started her blog many years ago as well as the ups and downs.
We talked about the frequency of blogging, the importance of good pictures, and making connections. The most important thing I heard was to be true to yourself, and be the best blogger you can be. I can’t be Tami or Necole Bitchie,.. I have to work hard and create a name and show my individualism as Donna the Brown Girl Next Door.
Let me quickly ad that if you haven’t been to Strip, you are missing out! The food was good and beautifully plated. And I didn’t feel bad after I ate (you guys know I’m watching my figure!). Check them out, and tell them you decided to try it because Brown Girl gave them her stamp of approval.
