At the top of the year Nina Brown hosted her 3rd Annual Vision Board Brunch at Frank Ski’s Restaurant and Lounge in Atlanta.  With a tag line of ‘Change your thoughts, change your world,” every attendee in the building attempted to put that plan into motion by sitting down around like minded, positive individuals and create a Vision Board.  A vision board is a simple yet powerful visualization tool that activates the universal law of attraction to begin manifesting your dreams into reality.

After a great brunch, we heard from the following speakers: Nina Brown, Taiye Samuel, Dr. Tartt, Eboni Electra, Renaldo Nehemiah, and Slick Rose. They all did an amazing job sharing their stories, testimonies, encouraging us to stay on top of our own dreams and visions. Most importantly, we heard that making the board is not enough. You have to look at your vision and act upon it daily.

It was really great to see so many people being proactive about their visions,.. especially in 2012. If you don’t pursue your goals, who will? We were encouraged to take our time on our boards and if need be to finish them at home (which is what I’m doing),. but some finished, so check out the pics below. It was amazing to me to see so many people line up to share their stories with Nina after the event was over. People even came from out of town to attend the Brunch. It was a great experience and a wonderful way to start off the year. Completely motivated!

I am one of the original #VBB (Vision Board Brunch) attendees. I mean the VBB that was held right in Nina Brown’s living room. I have since moved from the Atlanta area, but it gives me great joy in knowing the movement lives on. Being apart of the VBB helped me to realize my purpose, what I wanted to do and where I wanted my life to go. I can truly say the VB’s do work. God has show up and showed out in my life. Right after seeing the post on your blog, I had to hit Nina up and let her know she had to see the post and she did. I felt like I was in the building in each picture. :) I pray for your continued success with your blog and your future endeavors. ~Joyua Gibson Owner/Freelance Makeup Artist at “Be Simply Stunning”
