Saturday was my birthday and I had been anticipating my sweet treat to myself for the entire month. Cami Cakes was currently running a special of one free camicake on your birthday (with proof of I.D. of course). When I arrived at the Peachtree Rd location, I was stunned by the line of patrons waiting,… And doing so patiently!

Entering the shop you couldn’t help but be overwhelmed by the aroma, it took over my sense of smell. As Travis and I waited in line for our turn to order, we surveyed the crowd on their favorite flavors. Those flavors became apparent as they began to run out before my eyes. I had my mind set on a flavor, and I crossed my fingers hoping it would still be available to me.

I chose a variety box of Classic, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream, Red Velvet, and a Sweet Potato.

Did I mention that this was my first taste of a cami cake? Well it was and let me just tell you that I fought with myself internally to not ruin my diet. I wanted to eat every crumb and lick the inside of the box! (TMI, ??)

Honestly, the cupcakes were delicious. Moist, sweet, rich, and each flavor actually tasted like its title, unlike a lot of red velvets especially. I loved all the cupcakes, but my favorite was the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream, simply because I am a chocolate girl. I loved that they didn’t fall apart and I cut it several times. Another bonus was the cupcakes looked exactly like the pics on the website! Don’t you hate deceiving pics? No worries at Cami Cakes!

If you haven’t already (I’m assuming I was the last one left who had not experienced a Cami Cake), you are serious depriving yourself. Really one of the things you would want to experience in Atlanta. Travis ate 2 on the car ride home. (Don’t tell him I told you that!)

Check out the website here! And see more pics here!
