Football: The Rucker Report

So after a summer of uncertainty when thoughts of no football this year were more than real, it happened that the owners and players both came to the realization that not having a season this year would have a lasting impact on its fans. So even with the shortened pre-season, free agency, injuries to big name players, hold-outs , etc..This Thursday night we kick off the 2012 season. The NFL did its part by giving us some great week one rivalry match ups. The Saints vs. Packers on opening night, Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore, Atlanta vs. Chicago and a prime time Monday night match up featuring New England vs. Miami.

With this in mind who you going with?…….
Do you like the Eagles with their $100 million dollar man and his new teammates?  Do you like the Patriots and the misfits they picked up? Do you still back the Colts even though Peyton Manning may not be ready for weeks? Do you go with those Dirty Birds as Matt Ryan has a new play maker? Or can we have the first repeat Superbowl champions in years with the Packers?

All in all I expect this to be a great season! It may take a couple of weeks for your teams to get into full rhythm but none the less it’s game time now. So ladies don’t worry the threat level has gone down from orange (before there was no season) to yellow (now that we have a season). But beware depending on how your man’s team starts and how much you let them play the new Madden video game the level can rise or fall…..LOL. I feel like it gonna be a great season for all, so in the words of the infamous T.O. ” Betta Get Ya Popcorn Ready”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and just in case you were reading this wondering who I roll with its none other than the Green Bay Packers ……. GO PACK GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   See you next week..
