The Land Rover Defender has become an icon, a legend, in the car industry and loved among purists. Ever since being released many years ago, the design has been hardly changed, thus replacing the Defender will be one of the hardest tasks for the car manufacturer.
The DC100 is not a production concept, but rather a first base to develop on for the next 4 years, with an official release being planned for 2015.
This first concept will for sure start some heated discussions in the tight knit Land Rover Defender community.
