This is one of those things that I looked at for a few minutes. I don’t want to be a person that thinks everything is an attact on blacks, or natural hair.
But I am speechless at this ad. The African American (when we clean up our language) is tossing a decapitated afro wearing head?. And the caption is re-civilize yourself! WOW!!!
Also, the product line is facial care, so what did the afro have to do with it? I’m just saying…

Why would you choose the verbage “civilize yourself”, while using a African American actor? Does that mean that cleaning up the facial hair makes you look (and become) civilized? This should not be directed toward any one race since hair of some other races can be stubborn, hard to remove and/or control! This could be considered racist by my family and me, since as a female, I also have facial hair! Please remove this ad and let me know how you plan to fix this!
