Jelly, from BET’s Born to Dance came out Saturday to share her story with the girls of the nonprofit organization, Enchanted Closet.
Enchanted Closet, as you have seen posted here before, is an organization, under the direction of Ms. Bonita C. Johnson. The nonprofit does a lot in the community but they are currently most known for their Prom Dress Giveaway.

The girls of Enchanted Closet are getting active by practicing Beyonce Move Your Body,Dance Routine, and they performed it, Flash Mob style at the Porter Sanford III Center on Saturday.
Move Your Body was created in support of Mrs. Obama’s campaign to end childhood obesity.

There wasn’t a better person to share her story of pain, dedication, passion and success that Jelly. She was very candid with the girls and provided so much insight, I even learned a thing or two.

With such a powerful testimony, if you will the girls were very attentive as she encouraged them to never give up. One young lady even asked Jelly if she could be her mentor, and she agreed immediately! Passed along her cell number and congratulated the student on asking for what she wanted!

I enjoyed the talk and life lessons that Jelly shared with the girls. After she was done it was time for the Flash Mob. Each week the girls go to practice and learn the moves.

They did such a good job! The host and hostesses even jumped into the routine, which is the cool thing about a popular routine like Beyonce’s Move Your Body. Anywhere or anytime. If you know it, you can jump right in! I’m going to learn it too! Wish me and these old bones luck!

Thanks so much for inviting me out Bonita! I had a great time with you all. XOXO
