Colombiana is an upcoming action drama movie directed by Olivier Megaton based on a script by Luc Besson. The story revolves around a young woman who, after witnessing her parents’ murder as a child in Bogota, grows up to be a stone-cold assassin. The film is starring Zoe Saldana and Michael Vartan. The movie Colombiana will be released on September 2, 2011.
With that being said, I am loving Zoe Saldana in action roles. She was great in one of my favorite chick flicks, Center Stage, but after watching Avatar, The Losers, and now this preview- I’m convinced that we’ve found our next Angelina Jolie.
