This show is definitely replacing my love of American Idol. I’m so impressed by the fact that the selections are blind decisions. The judges have their backs to the artist while they sing, so its based on musical talent alone.
Too many times I think the industry has picked the not so strong singers because they were cute, or fit a certain image.
The catch is that the judges are competing as well. If more than one judge picks the artist, then the artist has to select which judge they want to train with, and then it becomes a competition.
The judges are Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton. You can watch the first episode below! Tune in to NBC on Tuesdays at 9pm.
