Stan Watson’s Eggs-travaganza

DeKalb Super District 7 Commissioner Stan Watson will host his seventh annual “Easter Eggs-travaganza” on April 24 at Wade Walker Park in Stone Mountain.

Watson started the annual event when he was a state representative.

Kids 3 to 10 years can attend the 3-to-7 p.m. event that will include face painting, jumper, snacks, games and prizes. Ages 3 to 5 will hunt for eggs at 3:30 p.m. and ages 6 to 10 will hunt at 4:30 p.m.

The Easter Eggs-travaganza will also have entertainment, horses and music.

Wade Walker Park is at 5557 Rockbridge Road.

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center

The annual Eggstravaganza will be taking over the lawns of Callanwolde Fine Arts Center on April 23. The 10 a.m.-to-noon event features thousands of eggs hidden all over the lawn of the former Coca-Cola family mansion, a live performance by EnzoClown, Atlanta Braves tickets and prizes, and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.

Bring your Easter basket and camera. Adults are free but kids pay $10 with advance ticket purchase at TicketLeap. 
On event day, the price is $12. Proceeds benefit the Callanwolde Dance Program.

Kids will hunt for eggs by age groups. Newborns to age 2 will hunt at 11:15 a.m., ages 3-5 at 11:30 a.m., and ages 6 and up, at 11:45 a.m.

There will be no on-site parking but a shuttle bus service will begin running at 9:30 a.m. from the Emory University Briarcliff Campus, 1256 Briarcliff Road, just one-half mile north of Callanwolde. The event is canceled if it rains.

Atlantic Station’s Easter Celebration
Saturday, April 23, 1pm-5pm In Central Park


Hop on over to Atlantic Station Saturday, April 23 for some Easter Egg-citement. It’s a fun-­ lled afternoon of free activities for kids and their furry friends.

Pet Adoption The Pet Home Finder Mobile Bus will be onsite. Bring home a new pet for Easter!
Radio Disney Enjoy games and live music from Radio Disney from 1PM – 4PM.
