
Day 3 and we are now in Nassau Bahamas. The sky is clear, the weather is warm, and the water is beautiful. The population is 400,000 in the providence of Bahamas. Elections are every 5 years, every fourth night is the changing of the guards, and they are a member of the British Commonwealth.

The official currency of Bahamas, and it is currently equivalent to the U.S. dollar, and gas in Nassau was $4.71 per gallon.

This limestone staircase was built (took 16 years to carve) by slaves to honor Queen Victoria’s help in the abolition of slavery in the Bahamas.

The Atlantis Resort, in Nassau Bahamas is a five star resort.



The Atlantis Bridge Suite- In 1998 Michael Jackson was the first person to occupy the suite during the opening ceremonies.
