Taking pictures is not my strong suit. In all honesty- I hate it. I have never felt photogenic and I am always super critical of myself. So with that being said, I’m particular about who I will and won’t sit still for long enough to get my picture taken.
The talented young man, that I decided to trust my web look to was Travis Hudgons of Hudgons Photography.

He’s wicked with his camera and a great graphic designer. Hudgons and I have worked together on many projects and we decided I needed a decent picture to use for all of my web content, instead of using a picture that I cropped my niece out of.
Since I was getting my hair done for a wedding, no better opportunity would present itself (in the near future) to get some headshots taken.
I gathered a few tops and wore jogging pants since these were —-just “headshots”. I thought I might as well hire a makeup artist as well to ensure perfection, but due to circumstances beyond our control, my makeup artist wasn’t able to make it, so I was left to do my own makeup (which I usually do, anyway).
What I loved about the shoot was his knowledge of lighting and position. Good photographers like Hudgons, know what lights and positions will flatter you once your on the other side of the lens.

He was equipped with various backgrounds, props, and lighting equipment.

I love that these pictures haven’t been photoshopped or edited in any manner (yet- lol), and they look great. I don’t ever want unrealistic pics, where I get lost in the enhancements and alterations.

With Travis, I felt like he made sure to get the shot. He took over 600 pictures, and I was able to select from over 100 of those. He has been into photography for more than five years, awarded by the Georgia Press Association for various pictures he’s taken, and he does great action photos- working closely with high school sports and various music events.
He is experienced in wedding photography, portrait photos, allowed credentials at The Chick- fil-a Bowl, Art Galleries and many cultural shows around the city.

I really enjoyed my session with Travis, and can’t wait to start using my new pictures! Thank you.
