First Lady Michelle Obama is in Atlanta today to celebrate the first anniversary of her “Let’s Move” campaign to reduce childhood obesity.
Mrs. Obama arrived in Atlanta around 12:45 this afternoon.

North Point Church in Alpharetta was Obama’s first stop, where crowds lined the streets to hear her speak . The speech was carried live on Letsmove.gov, Mrs. Obama’s site about her healthy eating campaign.
She also visited Burgess-Peterson Academy, a public elementary school in East Atlanta, to tout the school’s work on promoting healthy eating.

12:55 p.m. — First lady Michelle Obama’s plane has reportedly landed at Dobbins.
1:10 p.m. — Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and Sen. Johnny Isakson, among other dignitaries, are at Atlanta’s Burgess-Peterson Academy to greet First lady Michelle Obama. The White House, however, will not allow the press to see the first lady’s arrival and greeting. We’re being taken to a second-grade classroom, which will be Obama’s first stop.
1:35 p.m. — Michelle Obama arrives at Megan Kiser’s classroom at Atlanta’s Burgess-Peterson Academy, having been greeted by two of Kiser’s second-graders bearing a blueberry-laden fruit basket.
1:45 p.m. — The first lady is eating blueberries with the kids. It’s their snack of the day. For more
