the chicago code

I was sent a DVD of “pilot” episodes to review for you guys called “The Chicago Code”. The Chicago Code is an upcoming television series that will air on FOX Feb. 7, at 9p.m.

In one of the most captivating pilots I’ve seen, Jennifer Beals (“Flashdance,” “The Book of Eli”) as Teresa Colvin, the city’s first female police superintendent, and Jason Clarke (“Brotherhood”) as Jarek Wysocki, her ex-partner and a veteran cop team up trying to clean up a corrupt department and city.

The series highlights the revenge and resistance faced by Colvin and Wysocki as they covertly seek to put an end to the betrayal and greed.

The cast also includes Delroy Lindo (“Crooklyn,” “Romeo Must Die,” and “This Christmas”) as a powerful and handsome alderman. Matt Lauria (“Friday Night Lights”) as Wysocki’s new partner, Todd Williams (“In Plain Sight”) and Devin Kelley as fellow cops and Billy Lush (“The Black Donnellys”) as, stated by FOX’s description, “an Irish thug who blends in with the gritty world of local crime.”

Chicago native Shawn Ryan (“The Shield”) created the series, which was filmed completely on location in Chicago. This show is going to be a winner. It touches on all of your emotions while you get to know the characters. I watched 3 “pilot” episodes and I was fascinated. You won’t be disappointed. I, for one can’t wait.

Tune in- and when its over-

“I’ll say I told you so” muah!

XOXO
