The best spent hours of my new year thus far were definitely the midday hours I shared with many at Nina Brown’s 2nd Annual Vision Board Brunch. Justin’s Restaurant was packed with eager participants ready to lay their expectations out on a crafty Vision Board.

As we ate brunch which was sausage, eggs, bacon, grits, fried chicken and or potatoes, we listened to various stories from guest speakers about their own experiences in life and how their vision boards came into play.
We heard from Monique, E. CEO, of Golden Parachutes and a Career Expert, Tangie Larkin, Taiye “Wild Afrikan” Samuel from Beehivefm.com, Rashan Ali from V-103 and Sporty Girls, Inc., and Dr. Tartt, a psychologist, and relationship expert really dropped some great insight on us (I’ll share some points later).
Nina Brown, who has an amazing testimony about staying faithful no matter what, shared the exciting news that she would now be working for 11Alive, doing traffic and entertainment in the mornings. This event was such a success and if the other participants left feeling at least as half as inspired as I did- we should see many great things coming from Atlanta this year.
