Frank Ski’s Celebrity Wine Tasting and Live Auction

Last night I had the pleasure of attending Frank Ski’s 7 th Annual Celebrity Wine Tasting and Live Auction. It was held at a rented house (totally available for purchase) in one of the many Atlanta Residential Neighborhoods. Frank Ski’s Events and auction proceeds benefit his non- profit organization Frank Ski Kids. He told us at the auction that the kids selected this year would learn how scuba dive with him while learning about the recent activity with the Gulf.

Frank Ski certainly packed the house with many local and and non- local celebrities, political figures such as Former Mayer Bill Campbell, current Atlanta Mayor, Kasim Reed, Kevin Liles, Ne-yo and his fiance Monyetta, Demetria McKinney from Tyler Perry’s House of Pain- told me she was working on a cd, Devine Stevens, Chris Tucker, Actor Sean Blakemore and his wife Nadia- were super sweet. He was the actor opposite Shemar Moore, and Vivica Fox in Motives, amongst other things.

Also in the building were Rashan Ali, Nina Brown, Devine Stevens, Talking with Tami, the Senior Quarterback from Tucker High School, Norman Hayes, who was awarded a leadership award. He is attending Harvard in the Fall on a full scholarship. — Amazing Accomplishment!  (Makes me wonder how you raise well rounded little people in today’s sociaty– but that’s another blog).

The event was catered by Carrabba’s (grilled shrimp to die for) and I enjoyed some delish Red Velet Cupcakes by CamiCakes!. Scrumpty! Seriously- I kept trying to decide if I was going to be the girl who got 2! LOL

The live action took place on the basketball court inside of the house, and the items were getting snatched up pretty quickly!. Frank even bid and won a huge bottle of wine for himself.

There was live entertainment, by Melvin Miller, as well as an artist.  I even got to take home my own bottle of Frank Ski’s signature Cabernet Sauvignon. I had a blast…. wait– did I mention I also had a complimentary message from the people at The Four Seasons… Whhoooossssaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..
