I had the pleasure of attending an O.P.I. Fall Collection Pamper Party hosted by Mrs. Talking with Tami. The event was held at the newly opened Pampered Salon, in the Castleberry Hills area.
I have to admit that I was a tad bit leery about attending because I haven’t worn a colored nail polish in about seven years. Somehow I got stuck in clear on my hands, and french manicure on my feet, but I knew I would have a great time- even if I wasn’t pampered.
However, the bold and strong color choices for the O.P.I. fall color line sort of enticed me, almost a come hither!… I thought, what the heck…
The nail expert prepared my hands for this new experience (7 years no color), and I was embracing it. Everyone loved the color choice and once it was actually on my nails, they loved it more. My color choice was “Color to Watch”- and it proved to be. I think at least three other ladies selected it after they saw mine.
These vibrant colors were perfect for fall and winter, and they looked great on everyone. I think I’ll take this color with me to the salon next week. (Since I got to keep my color-YAY!)…
Pampered Salon offers an organic experience. Natural manicures and pedicures, Gourmet Facials and waxing, Natural Hair Care (which I plan to try), Eyebrow treading, and wellness plans…
The owner also makes her own body spray oil- and the scent was divine…
I had a blast! I met great people, I drank a little bubbly, and I enjoyed some scrumptidelicious Cake Balls by Nikki, and even got a chance to see Kontrol Magazine. Great people I met tonight were Veronica of Veronica Unleashed, Pattie Davis of Anatomy of a Dinner Party, Aimee the Coupon Diva, Nicole Garner of The Garner Circle, and Wendy, who owns Plush Boutique.
