According to V-103′s Ryan Cameron, T.I. helped save a young black man’s life today. On top of Colony Square, located at 1201 Peachtree Street- a 22 year old was contemplating suicide. As Ryan Cameron reported, Grammy winner T.I. was leaving his home for a video shoot when he heard the live broadcast, and headed toward the scene.
Police stated that T.I. recorded a heartfelt video for the young man, and he soon came down. When T.I. was asked by Ryan Cameron’s Co- Host, Rashan Ali if he God had instructed him to volunteer any help he could to the police, and his response was honest.
He told her (loosely) that he wasn’t in tune spiritually enough to know if God was speaking to him or not. He said he is often compelled to do different things, and he just follows that.
I heard someone say he was only doing it because he has a court date coming soon, and good in the hood equals less time: which could very well be true. But for whatever reason he had today, I hope he realizes his influence over so many people- he helped save a live today.
