I begged my best friend to get out of bed at 6am to accompany me to Old Navy so I could purchase my $1.00 flip flops.. I thought I was selecting a store that would be less busy than the mall stores. We pulled into the parking lot at 6:50am to a line down the front of the store. He kept shaking his head at me, feeling very deceived at such an early hour. I practically promised him that “there wont be a crowd at this one.”…
Once inside I tried to take the lower racks as we shouted out colors to each other, knowing that the 9+ would be on the bottom portion of the wall. People were shouting to the customers closest to the shoes, “Is there a 9 in purple?” It was hilarious… What was even more funny is that all of a sudden I hear my BFF saying, “there’s no 9″. I turn around and he has a handful of flip flops, saying “who wanted the 10?”… I was cracking up- He was hoping to relieve some of the pushing off of his back by passing out a few shoes… We got my 10 pair, and we were out!…
Early morning, huge crowd, but so worth it!… Thanks Old Navy!..
I heard that all week about the 1.00 flip flop, I just didn’t get what all the craze was about lol. I wouldn’t have gotten up at 6am for flip flops. I bet it was fun though but I’d rather have clothing lol. Happy shopping.
Girl I hear you!… It was more to see what and who would be there… Truth be told I bought some flip flops on Old Navy .com the night before for $1.49! LOL… When you see a good clothing sale — make sure to let us know!
