I had the recent pleasure of dining at Community Q, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Community Q BBQ is a quaint mom and pop style restaurant with friendly faces and pretty good food. I ordered a combo rib plate that came with 2 sides and a choice of a second meat. The ribs were falling off of the bones (literally), the mac and cheese was worth the trip alone, and the baked beans had a spicy flavor yet still sweet like I like them.
The french fries were like something you’d purchase at a fair ground in a styrofoam cup, and the sweet tea could have been better (for I am a guru of sweet tea). The combo plate was about $15.00 and an additional $2 for a drink (with free refills). I think you will be pleased when you give them a chance, it was better than the Hickory House in my opinion (because I know that many of you enjoy that place).
