I was quite disappointed to find out there is a great concert tomorrow that I had not heard about until last night. It’s The Blast from the Past Show at Phillips Arena. The show will include R&B artists Dru Hill, Changing Faces, Troop, Blackstreet, KCI & JoJo, Guy, Next, and Jagged Edge.
Who is promoting this show? Why haven’t I heard of it until now? This would have been an excellent show to witness. I love all of these groups for their various contributions to my life’s soundtrack. Guy was the most popular artist being covered in the grade school talent show. Troop was the played song at Rock Eagle Camp, one year.
Changing Faces, made it ok to complain and address a cheating boyfriend. And Jagged Edge required an entire generation to Get Married. I listen to one of the most popular radio shows in Atlanta, and not once have I heard a commercial or seen an ad on website. I did finally hear someone mention it last night.
Considering the popularity of the before mentioned groups, there is no way that floor seats should still be available.
