When I was growing up I felt a certain loyalty to different things. You either like Cats or Dogs. You listen to Rap or R&B. You eat McDonalds or Burger King, because in my mind there was no in between. As I shared this theory with my BFF, it was brought up that I had not ever eaten at his favorite Fast Food Joint. As we rode and discussed other choices that were made, such as Pizza Hut over Domino’s, we pulled up to the home of the Thick Burger.
I will admit, the food was good and the facility was clean. I loved the grilled taste of the burger, the way Dairy Queen used to be.My fries were good, not to salty, and the sweet tea was pleasant. We made small talk between bites and watched the cars speed by when he pointed out the meal being advertising in the window.
A freaking Fried Bologna Biscuit. What on earth? I had no choice but to get outside and take this picture, because I feared no one would believe me. I immediately thought of my much older brother who would make me fried bologna sandwiches after school many moons ago.
If you haven’t had the pleasure, it’s something you have to try at least once in your life. I am not endorsing Hardee’s version, just the fried bologna itself.
Only in the south…

To me Hardee’s is like the “reject” of burger joints
=)))
