Usher is one artist who has been known to disclose the details of his personal life for the sake of publicity. In fact, the artist probably should credit his relationship happenings with Chilli to his largest album sales to date.
We all bought Confessions to get the straights on if he indeed cheated on his then longtime girlfriend and was having a baby with another woman.
Once again, Ush is letting us up close and personal with a leaked track off his upcoming album called “Papers.” As in divorce papers.
He says- “For you I gave my heart and turned my back against the world/ ’Cause you were my girl, girl, girl/ I done damn near lost my mama/ I done been through so much drama/ I done turned into the man that I never thought I’d be/ I’m ready to sign them papers.”
I can’t say I blame or agree with Usher for allowing us to be front row with his divorce thoughts. Because the information will get out one way or the other, I guess he says might as well make a few bucks off of it himself.
