Say what you want, hate when you have the time, but Tyler Perry and his creative writing staff, producers, production crew, and actors and actresses are geniuses. The actors and actresses are such for having the sense to not turn down a TP project. There hasn’t been a film preview yet that didn’t have me marking my calendar and sending text messages to the crew saying “we have got to go see Tyler Perry’s new movie.” Although, in my personal life- I have never experienced not having a place to stay, or a man throwing me out of the house.
I have experienced some of the epiphany and “ahh haa” moments that these characters find. The hope and encouragement after the struggle and strife they’ve endured. His movies always leave me with a conqueror mentality, a revived sense of completion for the goals and dreams that I have most recently pushed aside. While at the same time crying, laughing and wondering who is singing that song. And as for Madea, she is just icing on the cake at this point.
His new film, I Can Do Bad All By Myself, is going to be another box office hit. Miss Taraji, Mary J, and the CSI: Miami cutie Adam Rodriguez, are going to help fulfill Mr. Perry’s vision, yet once again. TP is on a roll. How do I know? Because that’s just what he does…
